R-Codeberg is a community project, aiming to make the transition to Codeberg easier for R developers and users.

Most importantly, we’re passionate about open source software building atop its own open source roots. This means leveraging tools and services that embrace the very same open source philosophy that drives us to share our code in the first place.

Codeberg leverages a number of open source technologies, including gitea, woodpecker and Forgejo. Even as the landscape continues to evolve, we aim to make it simple to keep up-to-date with the latest developments so that R can settle into a home that fully embraces its open source ethos.
